In our tradition, the Heart of Light of Mother Earth is the Spring of Divine Love. It is the symbolic place where she generates her gifts and blessings. One can visualize a place where there is a spring of pure crystalline water or white light that falls into a reverent space within the jungle of lush green vegetation that grows in perfect harmony with the universe. My great-grandmother used to take me there in our guided meditations in childhood so I could learn about Munay and the Divine Mother. I saw there the spirit of Spring and experienced the flame of love in my heart as it was reflected in my abuelita Jacinta.
